Located opposite a main road junction, this hotel offers easy access to transport links. the attached restaurant serves delicious cooked-to-order food. the rooms are clean, with comfortable beds, plenty of tea and coffee facilities, and a good size television. the bathroom lighting could be brighter, but the hot water for a relaxing bath or shower makes up for it. the staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall experience is well worth a visit.

The bar closes early on Sundays, limiting options for a relaxing drink after a long day.

Perfect location, great breakfast and friendly staff. The hotel is in the middle of the town center with lots of shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. The staff were welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist with anything.

The bathrooms were not as clean as they could have been. Although the room was tidy and well-maintained, the bathroom had some stains in the bathtub and on the toilet seat.

The hotel was conveniently located near the ferry to Arran and made for a great romantic escape. We loved the cleanliness of the room and the comfortable bed. the restaurant next door was a definite plus, as it saved us time and hassle trying to find a place to eat. the staff were helpful and provided us with useful information about the local area.

There were some issues with the room that could have been better. the towels were a bit worn out and could have been replaced, and the lighting in the room was not great for sitting at the dressing table.
